Instructions
Prepare Meatballs
1. Mix ground beef, onions, uncooked rice, & pepper.
2. Form mixture into 4 oz meatballs using #8 scoop (weigh one meatball to determine if need to use rounded scoop to meet 4 oz).
3. Place onto lined sheet pans - cover with foil.
4. Bake for 1 hour & meatballs reach 155°F.
Prepare Brown Gravy (first 7 ingredients)
1. Melt margarine - stir in spices & four.
2. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture is lightly browned.
3. Gradually stir in broth.
4. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
To Serve
1. Combine meatballs with brown gravy.
2. Serve 1 meatball with 2 oz (1/4 cup) brown gravy per serving.
